Summer is here! I am definitely excited for the warm weather ahead and latest trends as I’m sure many of you are. Remember the key to any great look is a healthy hair and scalp!

This spring, I was fortunate enough to attend several events and shows during New York’s fashion week at Bryant Park and it seems that spring/summer 2010’s trendiest hairstyles are messy, pulled back dos, styled pony tails, and loose wavy hair.

The Best of Both Worlds: Get Glam & Save!

Many of our budgets have tightened over the last year and we’ve had to make decisions to cut costs whether it’s reducing the number of times we eat out or frequenting the salon less often, but you don’t have to skimp on your beauty routine or give up having a good time in order to save. It’s all about making wise choices and getting a little creative to enjoy the best of both worlds.

A great way to save and enjoy a good time with your friends is to invite them over to your home for a beauty and bite night. Talk to your friends ahead of time and have everyone bring a dish, drink, game and of course their favorite beauty products including nail polish, face masks and styling products. The next thing you’ll need to do is reach out to your stylist before the gathering. Remember your stylist is also facing challenging times and more than likely is willing to make an in home visit for a group and offer a discounted rate.

Hi friends, spring is finally here and as you know there are new trends. Personally, I feel that each season gives us an opportunity to refresh our look and try out a new haircut and/or style that is on trend.

Of course you should always begin with the basics for any hair style: before anything you must clean and moisturize the hair and take into consideration your scalps health. As you know, beautiful hair starts with a healthy scalp.
